I have been an attorney for more than 30 years. Initially I practiced criminal law and bankruptcy. I have also done workers compensation, wills and some personal injury over my long career. Currently the practice of bankruptcy is my only focus. I have found that bankruptcy is more satisfying as a practice, mainly it is the ability to help people in a positive way. Bankruptcy is more of a black and white practice; I know how I can help my clients. By giving my clients the care and attention, they need I can help them in these difficult times. I have found that nobody really wants to file bankruptcy and it is often the hardest decision one has to make in their lifetime.

I obtained my BA in Political Science from the University of North Dakota and my Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho. I have lived in the great state of Oregon for more than 30 years. Being able to help Oregonians is very satisfying and traveling to the many cities I serve helps me connect with my clients. My clients come from all backgrounds and walks of life, they have great stories to tell me about their lives.

When I am not practicing law, I enjoy the many wonders of Oregon. I enjoy backpacking, at least one big hike every year! I also enjoy camping, hiking and mountain biking. Going to the mountains and the coast are activities that bring me instant joy. I still stay active by playing hockey in the winter months, along with cross country skiing. I also play on an indoor coed soccer team and coed softball team. I like to stay fit and enjoy all that Oregon has to offer.
